External Membership:
General Overview:
GNLU offers reading-only membership to external users for academic and research purposes. The external membership is provided to GNLU alumni, UG or PG students/Ph.D scholars/ faculty members/ professionals/lawyers/members of other institutions/organisations/companies on a payment basis. External members need to apply for membership by filling out the forms available at the circulation counter in the library or download online from the library website. The membership enrolment shall be done on approval of the application form by the Registrar. The decisions of the university shall be final in case of external membership.
Under this membership, individuals can only use the library for reading/reference purpose. No borrowing facilities/internet access facilities will be provided under this membership category.

Note
- External member shall keep his/her member id issued by GNLU, while visiting the GNLU library
- External members can use the GNLU library between 10 am to 8 pm only, on the working days.
- External members shall are allowed up to library location only.
- External members shall maintain silence in the library and abide by all rules of the library.
- GNLU reserves the right to cancel external membership on ground of report of any disciplinary matter without any refund of the membership fees or reasons.
- Photocopy services may be availed under the supervision of library staff only. (Rs.1 per page on both sides).
